Longblade is a melee weapon in Heat Signature.

Description

Hold the button to aim your dash, release to strike.

Tactics

• An excellent lethal melee weapon: Silent, long range, and puts enemies down with ease. The downside is that it can't really be used in a scrap with multiple enemies, as you'll get shot up. Unless you have shields.
  • A temporary solution is to dual-wield Longblades.
  • Slipstreams can also negate its downside and allow you to rush between guards before they have to chance to alert the ship or fire a shot
• One is able to throw a Longblade and kill an enemy it hits. Dual-wielding Longblades and entering a room and killing two guards then throwing those same two Longblades killing two more guards is highly effective. This can also be done with wrenchess.
